OUR SESSIONS EXPLAINED
COS TECHNIQUE: This session is primarily drill based. It seeks to refine and improve your swim stroke so expect tips during the session from the coach on deck. This is designed as a low impact session and a great start to your week.
COS FUSION: This session is a mix of everything; speed, technique and endurance, and a good choice for those who do not have time to attend multiple sessions a week.
COS PURE SPEED: This is a fun one! Expect it to be fast and challenging. It will typically consist of shorter intervals working the anaerobic system. This session focuses on building your top end speed.
COS SPEED: This is a fast session aimed to enhance your speed. Expect intervals to range between 50m and 500m. Some technique work will be added in but the focus will be on maintaining speed and awareness on how fatigue starts to affect your stroke.
COS ENDURANCE: This session has a lower impact level than the Speed and Pure Speed sessions. The intervals are typically longer with slower time targets. The session builds aerobic fitness.
COS LONG ENDURANCE: As the name suggests this session is ideal for endurance athletes. Expect to cover between 3500m to 5000m during the 90 minutes. This is perfect for those preparing for open water racing, 70.3 and Ironman events.
